As part of my current set-up for my Raspberry Pi I am using the brilliant HDMIPi. This is billed as a “1280×800 Affordable Hi-Def HDMI screen for the Raspberry Pi”, but it could also be used for anything that outputs to HDMI.
Having now got my Raspberry Pi to boot directly to the desktop I am now finding that the screen goes blank after a few minutes. This really isn’t helpful as I have no keyboard or mouse attached to get the screen back.
As part of my development on the Raspberry Pi it dawned on me that it may be a good idea to automatically backup any scripts that I write. Most of these will initially be test scripts, but still worth keeping.
